'Ello London

It has been one week since I got to London, and I am luckily having no difficulty with the language so far. One thing that has been obvious from advertisements and TV shows is that the English truly appreciate dry humor. I am going to embrace this British quirk as I immerse myself in the culture.

Classes started today and there is really nothing to report on that, not at least until my London Met classes start and I get to actually be the foreign exchange student. Our flat on Baker street is starting to feel a lot more like home, though it still is seemingly impossible to find a place to buy hangers in this city. The weather has been a little chilly but the rain I was preparing for has yet to be as frequent as I imagined. We've been to various pubs as well as some sights, trying to get that vintage London vibe. I am beginning to pick up some small habits, so expect stories of the theat"re" and posts about my fav"ou"rite trips in the near future. That's all for now, God save the Queen.
